A lot of it is. That's why you see the dvd's for $1 often at stores. You can watch a lot of them on You Tube. Stuff from this era is still not in the public domain though (because people keep renewing the copyrights). However, several copyrights for 3 Stooges were not renewed and are now public domain.

Any idea if these DVDs contain uncensored episodes?

I remember watching many of these aired on TV in the late 1980s and early 1990s and know almost every episode.

I've caught recent stooges marathons on TV and notice that some of them were significantly hacked up, blocking certain topics that are too politically or socially 'sensitive' - funny how only 20 years ago those same topics were fair game.

The same thing happened with Tom & Jerry....
