We were just informed many Toys R Us' will have Nintendo Wii Consoles in stock for $249.99 tomorrow (Sunday, 11/18/07)

- Toys R Us Store Locator
- Many stores will open at 7am on Sunday.
 
I doubt it'll be availabvle online
 
Who informed you of this? I was under the impression stores were holding unto to their Wiis till Black Friday.
 
I called my local TRU, they are in fact selling it tomorrow at 7AM.
 
Online is shows stores open on Sunday at 9AM, are they opening at 7AM just for this?
 
It is more of a notification than a deal. By the way, my Toys R Us wasn't open at 7AM.
 
Thanks for posting this, was able to stop by and get one for the parents and nephews.

By the way, since the only units readily available are these packaged units that come with all kinds of stuff you don't need and cost $200-$300 more then regular price, I think anytime someone can post these are going to be available at regular price it is a heck of a deal.

I got the last Wii yesterday at Toys R Us. Our store got in 130 and passed out 60 tickets then sold 6 more to people in line...So I was #66. The Electronics Rep told me that they are holding the rest back for Black Friday, I think 30 then 30 more for the week following Thanksgiving.

So here is my question, what now?

Where can I find extra controllers for cheap ?
Or do I have to pay $40 each?
What else do I need?

This has become quite an expensive little surprise B'day present for my husband.

I did take advanatage of the Buy 2 get 1 Free games.

The only way you can sort of get extra controllers for cheap is to get the Wii Play pack that comes with a controller. It costs about the same or a little more, but at least you get a game with it.
