Buyer beware

Buyer Beware, I have recently purchased this exact same Iphone data cable from Meritline.com. When I attempted to use it with my Dell Laptop connected to my Iphone 3GS it would not recognize it at all. This cable, for me, will only work when connected to the outlet adapter for charging. It will not charge nor will it sync with this cable through my laptop. I did not take the time to complain to meritline.com, mainly because I use it just to charge through the adapter that came with my phone and because of the very low price I got it for. So if that is your only reason for buying this product, go for it! but if you intend to try and sync with a computer, I would stay far away. I hope this helps! Enjoy!
