I had this poster on my dorrm room wall in college.

No one could tell me what color her eyes were.

I guess she was just too normal to have a huge fan base.

I was born about 10 years too late to remember her too much.

I had a Farrah hairstyle.......:suspicious::yesnod::blushing:

No much acting involved in Charlie's Angles but she did some phenomenal stuff later on.....she also fought a long and tough battle valiantly and with grace.

Is this the hidden message thread? :noidea:

I felt bad how MJ dying just kinda shoved her off front page news.....
it was like this:

And I am not a big fan of either! I just feel bad for the friends and family of Farrah and Ed too!

 It really bothered me that Farrah couldn't have her own day to be mourned :rip:

She really fought like a champ :first:

Every year we will hear this...
it's been X-years since the king of pop died (we will have to listen to his details again)...oh yeah ~ Farrah too

DH and I felt the same way~we watched her special on her battle with cancer and it was absolutely chilling what this tiny woman endured ~and as she reminded us many times in the documentary, many others just like her endure every day.

I have been haunted by one line she had in her documentary when asked what she missed the most since becoming sick she states so simply, "My life".

Ever since hearing that, I have to believe that that is exactly what a terminally ill person feels....you just want the basic, simple freedoms of your life back.

Have been trying to keep that line in the front of my head when I get *****y about too much laundry or running in seven different directions to get errands done or the other mundane tasks of life...try to remind myself, at least I still can do these things for myself.

God bless her.

You know, when people die in my universe I'd just as soon let it all pass. Not that I would ever forget my loved ones but I'd rather not have to be reminded. Those who really care for the real heroes and truly loved will always remember and those who don't will make a big deal out of the Michael Jackson's. I think I'd rather be a king knowing I'm really loved than being a pop-king because people love my money or what small pop-song I may have created. See the size-of-the-universe to get the relative importance.

Farrah leaves the legacy of a hero. Jackson leaves "oldies". Nothing to compare and in the case of Jackson it's kind of sad.

BTW - a cousin of mine just found a 100 yr old photo of my fathers family before he was born - I love them all to pieces even though I only knew a few as a child. I like to think some of my descendants, 100 yrs from now might see a photo of me and love me for having been their grandfather or great-grandfather and for nothing more.

Jerry, anyone ever tell you ........................you have a beautiful soul.:yesnod:

:mmph: NO and I'd only say "everybody does" but that would only make it worse :mmph:

:blushing: Thank you :blushing:

Relax Jerry! It doesn't make you less of a man...in fact.... chicks dig it! :)

Kewel - always wondered what it was like to be a chick magnet.
