This scene is a classic. I always wanted to be the girl John Cusack serenaded. :love:

This is my absolute favorite scene from The Color Purple. I have watched this movie more times than I can count!

Amber has a friend that calls her Amburger because of this movie. LOL
 
Ron Howard did such an amazing job with this. I remember being glued to the tv waiting for Apollo 13 to land. Even knowing the outcome, I was still on the edge of my seat during this scene.
