Softcore porn??? Not hardly, unless of course you consider Sports Illistrated Swimsuit edition to be softcore porn ... theyre really quite comparable.

Softcore porn is what you see on HBhO, Skinamax, and sHOtime after 1am ... calling FHM softcore porn is like calling a beach a Nude Beach because people wear 2piece swimsuits.

Have to disagree also. Far from soft-core porno. Girls in bathing suits not showing anything that you cannot see on mainstream television, are considered semi-naked? LOL

Sure it is a "Mens" magazine but women have their own magazines, and most of them are alot more graphic in terms of sex and sexual discussion than this magazine will ever be.

They don't even have this marked in the magazine racks as for 18 and over. My 14 year old son could walk in and buy this without questioning.

I have not looked at this magazine in quite a while but I thought it was like stuff and maxim, which as I recall feature see-through underwear and an occasional breast here and there.

All I can tell you is there are a lot of women who don't appreciate this kind of mag in their/our homes, and I don't want my kid looking at it.

In fact, I prefer to stay married happily to a middle aged woman with the body of a gal who works at it but has had three kids. I don't need young airbrushed implanted women's bodies invading my brain.

There is a girl I went to high school with I have only seen her once since her first playboy pictures came out and all I ever think of when I see her is her old boyfriend saying I've slept with her and she doesn't look that good. It's amazing what airbrushing can do.

Saying that some how I ended up with Stuff mag. getting mailed to me and I have to say I was embarrassed to have the mail man see that coming to me.
But if I was married I wouldn't mind if he ordered it, Cosmo is no better.

Actually yes, I would say that the swimsuit edition of SI is soft-core porn. And I'd even wonder if there is really that much difference between 'soft-' and 'hard-' except that with the 'soft-' you use your imagination. And show of hands, who can say they don't use their imagination?

The feminist movement got much of its impetus when men stopped being the shining knights. Chivalry was dumped for chauvinist and now many women have forgotten what it is to be truly loved and revered by their men. A nice little word picture I enjoy using is this: I reverence my wife (figuratively: put her on a pedestal) she reciprocates by honoring me (figuratively: bowing down) we end up seeing eye-to-eye.

My wife will know that she is the only romantic interest in my life, she will feel secure, she will not worry about what I read or who I spend time with because she knows she's the only one. If you have trouble doing that you've got some serious issues that desperately need working out.

Umm, it is preposterous to call Stuff, Maxim, and FHM "Soft-Core". If its softcore, then they show breasts, ass and shots of the vagina. None of these magazines do this. They are clothed, although somewhat skimpy, but the rest is left up to imagination and that is what makes these magazines so poular. They don't show you everything, but, they just enough to get you imagining how they would look without clothes.
Basically, I can't understand why you have to get on your high horse and trash FHM as soft porn ESPECIALLY BECAUSE YOU HAVE NEVER REALLY TAKEN THE TIME TO LOOK AT THE ISSUES REALLY. In fact, I find it offensive that you would have a link to your web design page which is your business in your email. Trying to get free advertising I see. Get a life buddy. I think Arnold Schwartz summed it up when he called people like you "girlie men".

Ummmm, Kallen seems to be the one doing the honorable thing here. He's sticking to one girl and doing it right. While Bob seems to enjoy imagining himself with somebody. I really feel for your wife man. Of course there may be enough blame to go around, bad time at home, etc... but I don't really care about that.

Kallen sticking to one wife is truly manly, and I'm sorely tempted to call Bob the girlie-man for his apparent proclivity for many of them,

Chivalry is in the movies, I don't know what women you talk to but it sounds like women who don't respect themselves or have good JOBS. FHM is just magazine you don't know what soft or hard porn this is reality you see more on TV and the movies then in these magazines.

And stop talking about what women want and need all the time you're making me a women look bad they are your ideas not all women.

If you want to see a real relationship come over to my house, my guy and I have good and bad times. More good then bad we still enjoy each other and when I was in the hospital and could not walk on my own for a year he stayed by my side quit his job to stay home and take care of me. That is real not fairy tales.

Bravo to AuctionHugh and Music2MyEar - the both of you sound like real men, who honor the women in their lives. My husband is the same way. He is the only man I love and look at, and I am the only woman he loves and looks at. We waited for one another, and since we married, our love has been beyond compare - truly amazing. We both have a great deal of respect for one another.

Cedar is right about the airbrushing. Don't you men know that most of the "sex industry" is lies anyhow? It's common sense. If you really knew women, and appreciated them, you'd understand. All the "sex industry" is is a fantasy - that's not real life, and it's never going to be real life. You might as well marry a Stepford Wife, and never have an intelligent conversation. Sure you might enjoy it for a little while, but you'll be bored soon after. Women are not sex objects, we're human beings, and the only way we'll ever really love you men is if you treat us with dignity and respect.

These men who truly love and appreciate women are not "girly-men", rather, they are real men, who take the time to understand and love their soulmates. It's a matter of respect. The truth is, if you respect a woman, you'll never regret it.

It's truly sad that there's a shortage of gentlemen these days. I'm glad I got mine! :)

Cedar, you are right in saying that it's not always roses and knights and chivalrous. In fact, that can be downright scary - I knew a guy who truly believed that life and love could be like a perfect fairytale, and he was an odd one.

However, my husband and I share a one-in-a-million type of love. We have been tested and tried and have gone through the fire - oh, have we ever. Together, we have grown closer because of those things, and our love has grown so much deeper. There is hope for a true love, but the true love must grown in times of hardship as well as the honeymoon stage.

My husband and I are living proof that love can withstand those things and come out stronger than ever!

My brother has a friend and Music reminds me of him, in the end he bought a hooker in Reno when he turned 25 after he figured out Snow White wasn't waiting for him.
 
Subscribed! My last free subscription ran out last year sometime.. this magazine is great.
