OK - admittedly this is being sent before coffee, but is anyone experiencing problems with Firefox that started within the last few days???

With both my home computer and work computers, Firefox runs like complete crap, when multiple tabs are opened. One tab, maybe two is OK, but add a third and it's like using a 24k modem!.

I first noticed this at work (but thought the IT guys added another GD filter), but am now getting the same response at home (and no I did not spill any bourbon on my keyboard or hard drive).

:ohwell:

:hmmmm2: Sounds like a PICNIC error to me. How much bourbon have you been consuming lately, that could slow the whole works. Don't things always seem slower when one drinks and stares at boob pics? :eyebrows:

I have been having the same problem. I can't get some sites to even load when I have multiple tabs open. My son convinced me we needed Firefox last week because he said you get less viruses than with Internet Explorer. :convinced:

OK wise guy - I knew you would not let it pass, but took the chance that you were still dazed from your anniversary celebration. I am glad that there appears to be no lingering after effects (have a nice trip?;) ).

And for any other FF user, the FF forum is full of posts (all over the world) reporting all sorts of problems that started about three days ago.

It looks like the evil tentacles of Bill Gates have reached out to cause us grief.

I am having another really wierd problem with FF. On another message board that I post on whenever I try to use an emoticon it takes it all the way to the end of my post no matter what I do. I have never had that problen with IE. That is just crazy! :hmmmm2:

Whew, glad to know that I am not the only one having trouble with FF. I was filling out a form last nite, that I couldn't use autofill with and my cursor kept leaving the boxes. I had to move the cursor back to the box, hold down the left mouse key and push the letter button all at the same time to enter my email addy and other information. Strange.

I've been having problems with Firefox a lot lately. I hate using Internet Explorer, but I had to get rid of Firefox.

I havent noticed anything wrong with my firefox. Im running 1.5.0.12 with Win-blows XP on a Celeron laptop.

Guys....I have the total opposite problem with Internet Explorer. That runs like crap.In the middle of stuff...I get error message all the time, and have to log back in.:mmph: I have even cleaned my computer up.... and still it runs like crap:rant: :verysad: .

None here, have you tried re-starting or perhaps getting updates?

I've had a few FF slowdown problems and thought it was my computer. (Well, not really, because I just switched to the portable U3 version of Firefox so I don't mess up the settings on my work computer.)

I hope it gets resolved.

I had that problem yesterday.. I had to restart to get it working right again.. huge pain when I was already doing a few things unrelated on the comp that just stopped responding when FF decided to 'step out':mmph:
