In the terms and conditions of the Fix It rebate it says " rebate value will not exceed purchase price ", so making $5 questionable.

Has anyone used either one of these before? And if so, what did you think?

for first time buy.com customers, what about using this $5 off $50 coupon (valid in the buy.com software store)?

also, Stuff It upgraders can MAKE $10 (one of the rebates is $10 for new users and $20 for upgraders)

I have been using Fix-It since v. 3 and have never had a problem (although fixed many problems).

As for the Stuff-it, I have never used anything but the free version (unzipper) on Windows. On my Mac-mini though, I use the full version of Stuff-it quite often. :)

i thought that the free "unzipper" was only a trial version, though? no?
