Florida Man Stabbed in Chest by Stingray

They can jump??? :eek: If they learn how to drive, we are all s.o.l. :worry: :clown:
 
I saw this on the news this afternoon. It was real scary to hear that it LEAPED onto the boat!! I hope that man makes it through ok.Good thing he was in such great physical health for his age or he wouldn't still be with us. But how freaky that we have never heard of this type of thing happening and now it's been 2 differnt times within a month or so.
 
stingray incidents probably happen once in a while, its common now because of the hyped news coverage (to satisfy the appetites of rubberneckers). remember, stingrays are called stingrays for a reason. unless, maybe stingrays also have internet access.
 
If they can be a baseball team the possibilities are endless
 
maybe there is a stingray jihad?
 
whene i was in florida i was tanning an dmy parrents were in the water and they said a stingray went up to them(like a foot away from then and then sawn away a bit and leaped out of the water and went back in, wierd.
 
At the Monterey Bay Aquarium we cut the barb thing off. They do grow back though, so another clipping. You can pet the bay rays we have.
