I'm trying to plan a honeymoon vacation to Dinsey World in the early part of October. Does anyone have any good suggestions about where's the best place to stay, what we should make sure to do when we are there? I haven't been there since I was young and figure a little advice doesn't hurt. Thanks.

It depends on your age, budget, what you like to do and what you want to do.

For example, if you're looking to enjoy the nightlife there and you have a decent room budget, I'd suggest staying at Saratoga Springs & Spa so you can walk/stumble to the clubs at Downtown Disney and Pleasure Island.

Thanks for the great info so far, we are both 23, and don't want to spend a fortune, but we aren't trying to just cheap our way through it either, so we have a moderate budget. Just thought I would see if anyone had any good stories, or suggestions from trips they have made.

Doesn't Mrs K work there? She should have some good suggestions!

Yes I do work there at WDW and the BEST value resort is Pop Century. Then comes the three All Star Resorts...one is sports themed, one is music themed and the other is movie themed. Then comes your more better priced...not cheap...resorts:Carribean Beach,Port Orleans and Old Key West. All very nice.Hope to help out some.:teeth:

Thanks for the 411! Soon as Johanna is big enough to appreciate Disney, we are on our way!

And if all the places are booked, Mrs. K has a spare room, bugs and a thermosat in the garage.

Then there's always the caves on Tom Sawyers Island.;)
