yeah, i've been averaging 40-50/week, and with running shoes having a 250-300 mile life, i'm wearing through them in under 2 months!
i'm investing in a couple pair of nike free 5.0s now- there is so much evidence that running barefoot (or as close to it as possible) is the best way to prevent injury. i'm actually buying frees for my daughter who runs as well! i've been training in the nike free for the past 2 weeks and have felt such a difference!
side note- anyone who is interested in the nike free, get the version 2, because they're going to be a lot more durable. the version 1s have a stress point in the back by the heel that will actually rip. i'll be buying one pair of the v.2 and one or two pairs of the v.1 (cuz they're so cheap comparatively!)
