For Kids in Select States: Free 'Bookworm Wednesdays' Summer Reading Program

BOOKWORM WEDNESDAYS is a fun and rewarding summer reading program developed to encourage young children to read during the summer months. BOOKWORM WEDNESDAYS runs for eight weeks and entitles kids to free admission to a select children's film every Wednesday at 10 a.m., from June 29 to August 17, 2005, when they present a book report at participating Showcase Cinemas, Multiplex Cinemas or Cinema de Lux box offices. Accompanying parents or guardians and children under six receive free admission and do not need to submit a book report.

Every summer, attendance at BOOKWORM WEDNESDAYS has grown and we expect that it will only continue. Thanks to our sponsors: Pepsi, Noggin, Nickelodeon Magazine and Simon & Schuster, there will be more fun and prizes in the seasons to come.

The program will run every Wednesday morning in the summer at select theatres in the following states: Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Iowa, Virginia and California.

Stay tuned for more details about this year's program!

How long does the book report have to be and what if a parent works at 10am? ;)
