I'm often baffled by the word filters that are imposed by forum software. Perhaps this is because I've led such a sheltered existence that I don't know the hidden meanings of the words which are being rejected. Could someone please illuminate me on this one:
I tried to type a common abbreviation for Foreign Exchange, which takes the first syllable of each word, "forex", and found the word replaced by *****. What is it that forex means which causes it to be filtered out? (Note: I had to use tricks to get the word to appear here this time.)
