ATT is giving some existing customers 1000 bonus free minutes when you call 1-866-526-4823. Say you got the offeer in an AT&T email. Most people are getting this but AT&T is turning down some accounts for an unknown reason. Only a few minutes to try

At&t told me that I would get a text message if I was eligible

Sweeeet! I get 25% off my at&t bill and another free 1000 minutes!

Heads up!!!

Just got off the phone with one of the rudest customer service reps ever he infomed me that this is not sent with an email but with a text and told me that apparndly one of my friends told me about this very very rude guy but if anyone wants to try make sure you say that it was a text not an email

I just called and the rep had no idea what I was talking about. He was surprised I had received an e-mail from AT&T saying something of this sort. I don't think this is legit. If there are more details about this offer, it would be nice to know. Especially a source.

i called yesterday and they told me it was for peoples who have been with at&t for more then 18 months and who pay their bill on time. they said if you quilified you would have recieved a text message from them. it is legit just for those certain ones

I did not get the text message, called and they gave it to me anyway. It showed up on my account the next day so it is completely legit.

My wife also called but they said she was not elligible . The customer service rep told her that is was completely random. When you call they put your name into the computer and then it tells you whether the person is elligible or not.

My wife has been a customer since it was AT&T the first time around and both of our bills are below $50 a month so I am not sure why I got it, but I did. :teeth:

i spoke to a rep yesterday after i got off the computer very nice woman she was a manager she was very confused about it and had no idea what i was talking about she tried the number and said that it was one of theres and she would check in to it and call me back she called me back at 11:00 am and this is the story about the minutes
these minutes are set aside for customers with special accounts i.e. large monthly bills it is a way to keep the customers from switching to another company she said that it only comes in the form of a text and if there was an email then they made a huge mistake because the computer decides who to give the minutes to then texted the number we didnt qualilfy
just thought everyone would like to know thanks

you'll just have to try it, but I'd say they have made it harder to get.
