That's what Mypoints is- emails! You are supposed to click the links to read about their sponsors & the points rack up. I have been a member for like 8 years now, maybe more. I usually get a couple of ads a week or more, click the link, delete the email, close the pop-up, voila. When I shop online, I go through them (KILLER deals near the holidays) and rack up more points. No other company I have signed up for to receive emails/shop through them has been more legit or easier to use. The points accumulate as much as you use the site and you can turn them in for GC's. I have received hundreds of $'s in GC's over the years for seriously minimal work, and saved so much with shipping offers, promo codes, etc. I combined a Hot Deal for Mothers Day gifts with going through MP and I earned points for something I was doing already. I referred a friend and she won over 60,000 points for playing a game one day- probably $200 in GC's. GG, new MP email came in and I am hopping right on it!

Oh, I see. Since you mentioned the Entertainment book in this thread previously, it should have been crystal clear. So sorry for trying to help.

It says at the bottom of the sign-up page,
that they will deposit 800 points into your account,
so that you can redeem it for the gift card.

Fine Print ~
MyPoints will award 800 Points to your account which can be redeemed for a $5 Gift Card

Offer subject to change without notice. Other restrictions may apply

I only got 750 points and they no longer offer a $5 card I am halfway to a $10 card though. I like MP so this is great for me Thanks

This month they are offering 500 points for referrals, so if anyone wants to join this super easy way to earn gift cards, PM me.
Just open a junk mail account, like I did with gmail.

I love MyPoints. I even have their credit card so I can rack up the points even faster. In about a month's time, I was able to redeem a $100 Sears Gift Card which my wife has already spent. LOL
