Free 50 Points on Your Subway Rewards Card

I got a text back saying " Unknown account xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
 
Sweet. Now I got over 75 points to get a 1' sub. mmm....
 
Yeah, clarify title original poster, people are going to think that Subway has a new loyalty points program. Is this a gift card or what?

What is the SUBWAY® Card Rewards Program?
Some participating SUBWAY® restaurants have adopted the SUBWAY® Card Rewards Program, which replaces the old Sub Club® stamps program. Under the Rewards Card Program, customers earn one (1) point for every dollar spent on SUBWAY® restaurant menu items. The points can then be redeemed for free menu items. Points are rounded up or down to the nearest dollar, prior to sales taxes. Ask your favorite SUBWAY® restaurant location if they are participating on your next visit.


Not all stores are participating in the points reward program. I was able to put in my zip code and there are none participating in my area. Rats!

You can use a giftcard as a subway point card, or I believe you can just ask for one to use as a points card. I have an old gift card that I recharge on the regular (I go to Subway a lot), so my card both a gift card and a points card.
 
Subway cards

I threw my card out a few months ago. It had a lot of points still on it. i was told by a few Subway
establishments that I frequent, that the card program was over and no longer active or honored
rendering my card useless.
 
The cards are usable and active in Utah. Not sure about other regions.
 
The points system still works in Idaho. I haven't heard of it being cancelled.

The points program is most definitely in effect in North Jersey. On a related note, I sent the text last night and when I purchased a sub today, I did not receive the 50 points. Going to try from a different cell number.
 
I made a purchase today and did not get the 50 points. The worker did know anything of the promotion. I checked the ad's web site (Subway) and saw that it appears to only be good in Buffalo, NY and Seattle, WA.
 
My text says, You'll earn 50 points on your next visit.

I feel like this has a lot to do with it.... I still haven't received my 50 points.
