My husband and I did this last year. We had a great time. The only downside was that Bally's harrassed us once or twice a week about joining (phone calls, trying to talk to us when we'd come in to work out). We just got really good at saying we were doing the 8-week challenge!

Oh boy I'll be able to exercize all the free food off I get from this site.I got a treadmill secret,just find the nicest butt and get on the treadmill behind it and you won't have any problem exercizing.Don't do this if your married!!!LOL

Good one,I'd add that it's for Discovery Health they might get scared off easier.
 
Sounds like a good deal, but I had a friend who had a heck of a time trying to end his Bally membership after the trial period. His CC kept getting charged for months and it took forever to resolve the issue. Bally has a bit of a reputation for sleazy marketing practices.

I second that Drifa.. They try to wheel you in by any means, and they don't give up. I had a 2 week guest pass about 4 months agao and there're still trying to get me to join. geezzzzzzz:ohwell:
 
Thanks Bella! Two years ago I won a one year membership to Bally's here (since closed) and no pressure was ever put on me to join. In fact, not only did I benefit fromthe 8 weeks of help online, but when I went to get the membership activated, I also received sessions with a private trainer. This is a great deal if you are interested in just getting fit and healthy, not even necessarily losing weight. Good luck to everyone! :claps:
