Those rebates look pretty iffy, they are manf rebates.
 
Why iffy? One is 35, one is 40, one takes the original, the other says a copy. Sounds like it should be fine, right? Or does Soyo have a history.
 
Soyo has a history of being VERY slow to process rebates. We're talking 6+ months.

Regarding the original/copy issue. I purchased one of these and emailed newegg about it. They said to mail both rebates in the same envelope (since they both go to the same address) and just make sure both offer numbers are written on the outside.
BTW I ordered this on Tuesday and got it yesterday. Go newegg!

This is precisely what I needed. I bought a refurb motherboard and it kicked the bucket, returned it, they replaced it with another refurb (same kind), and now it also kicked the bucket. I am in need of a motherboard right now as a temporary replacement. Good find, guys.

I have both rebate forms in hand, one requires original UPC/packing slip, the other requires COPIES of UPC/packing slip...

Customers on NewEgg state Soyo is slow to issue rebates. One guy said 3 1/2 months. Oh well.

The second rebate clearly says "Bonus Rebate for NewEgg Customers" . I don't see any problem with this deal.

Final price is for shipping only of $5.

Plus NewEgg gives you a free gift - pen or calculator.

Soyo needs money. The way they raise it like a lot of other companies is to have huge rebates. Thus, they get a lot of money this way by selling alot of stuff. However, the rebate company can only pay rebates if Soyo gives them the money first. That's why the long wait.
 
I ordered mine yesterday. I realize because of the holiday weekend this wont come for a while, but I actually have no use for it right now. Since it's free, I couldn't resist. :o
