Telltale makes 3D adventure games, and good ones if you like the genre. They sort of harken back to the "classic" PC adventure games (they've made updated versions of Sam and Max and Monkey Island with new stories), updated with full 3D environments.

The BTTF game will take place six months after the events of the 3rd movie, and Christopher Lloyd is voicing Doc. MJF approved his likeness to be used, but won't be doing the voice, however the guy they have for his voice is reallllllllly good.

The release will be episodic, and they release episodes usually about once a month. I expect BTTF to be released in 5 installments, likely starting in December. You can pre-order the full "season" (every episode) for $25 on their website.
