He was a sci-fi writer first.. but wasn't very successful. He started Scientology after he met and hung around with P.T. Barnum for awhile.

Thanks. I my husband loves debating religion and politics and will love to have a copy of this. It is a great example of the fiction L. Ron Hubbard wrote and published as fiction before he wrote the book of scientology and tried to pass that off as non-fiction. It is amazing what some gullible people will believe when it comes to religion, and proof that this "religion's" founder makes sh*t is even better. :D
 
I think it is that most people.. even in Scientology don't know what the """"truth according to Hubbard" is... it is only given to those that have reached a high level.. "given enough money".. I about fell over when my niece told me.. that we are possessed by the souls of ancient evil aliens who were brought to earth & dropped into the volcanoes before man developed... their "courses" which include a little shock training even on kids are suppose to help get rid of the evil....
Like I said he was a sci-fi writer first.. just not very good..... the free books help bump them up on the sales lists.. they usually have their members buy them then turn them back in... gets them higher on the charts..
What they are giving away now are his earlier books.. that site has been giving away posters & calanders as well.

Don't forget that they used DC10s! They were very technologically advanced aliens!....

Imhilly.. please don't think that your posting isn't appreciated.. it is.. and I thank you for it.. a free book is a free book..
It's just scientology is so messed up of a deal.. it's too funny.. that these people just don't seem to get that he combined his sci-fi with Barnum's selling principles & ta da .. scientology.
