Worthwhile Documentary
I have seen An Inconvenient Truth and it is worthwhile. Regardless of how you feel about Al Gore, there is only factual information in this documentary and there is not any opinion or misinformation. This is not exclusively about global warming, but is an account of the speeches Al Gore is giving during his life post election, and how he got to the point of giving these presentations.
If you love your children or grandchildren and want a better world for them, do your self a favor and watch this yourself. The critics of this film likely get their "convenient truth" from the likes of the very biased Fox News and their "science" from Rush Limbaugh. They also have likely not watched this documentary, only furthering their lack of critical thinking skills. There is nobody from the true Scientific Community that will tell you that global warming is not happening. It is entirely possible that we are coming out an ice age. Not one Scientist out there, however, will dispute that by burning fossil fuels such as coal, gas and oil and clearing forests, we have dramatically increased the amount of carbon dioxide in the Earth’s atmosphere and that is contributing to the rising temperature of our planet.
On a side note, watch the documentary Who Killed The Electric Car. There are some references in An Inconvenient Truth to the issue documented in that film.
