No entry available without texting? I don't have the ability to do this...stinky how a lot of contests are going to "text" only entry. blah! Looks like a good contest! :)
 
It sounds like a great gift, but I'm still waiting for the Cover Girl items I did through this text number back in February.

I think I'll pass on texting freebies until I actually have some show up.
 
Is there a way to 'text' through the internet? :noidea:
 
Why do these companies seem to think *everyone* has texting capabilities? Some of us don't like the stupid things.
 
I have my brother do them for me..
 
Good giveaways, muscle and fitness has the same type of giveaways. They usually start taking entries at 7 am that day listed from my experience.

I just sent a text to see what message I'd get back......

It gave me different dates 4/14 to 5/28

You can download call wave texting widgets. I have it and you use it on your pc, and it lets you text to any mobil phone free with no limitations. I run vista and I have seen it for mac, not sure about windows.
 
OOOOOOHHHH I HATE when these are too early!!! I didn;t notice the "starts 04/14/09" and thats a waste of a text!!
 
my kids think i still live in the 90's cause i don't even have a cell phone, let alone texting capabilities. who'd uh thunk it.
 
I have a cell but can't text to these numbers. I signed up with shoptext but my phone carrier does not support this feature. :(
 
I don't have a cell phone either, so there are at least two of us on the planet, smidge. I'll probably give in soon, but just didn't want another thing to keep track of. My husband will try for me if I remind him (but he may be on an airplane when it opens--ugh!). Wish we knew what time for sure.

Hi sachmow and welcome to Spoofee. To get the offer, you need to follow the instructions in the first post...in this case using your cell phone to send a text message. More than likely, this offer has expired since it was limited to the first 1,000 people.

yep, problem is you have to already have a valid cell phone number so doesn't do any good for this, it only allows you free text from your existing phone. I have a prepaid cell which I can use to text but I can't use it for this kind of text message because you have to be able to accept a reply back. Makes no sense to me....

:confused: I disabled the text capabilites from my cell phone :shhh: because I'm cheap - so this download won't work for this neither for this deal ?:confused:
