Walgreens is giving away a free glucose monitor. I found this in the Diabetes & you book that they put out. All you have to do is call 1-800-588-1685 to request your free "Walgreens TrueTrack Smart System and Test Strips. Wow,
Meter & 50 Test Strips.:claps: When I called, it stated that is was only for BD Logic Meter Users. So be advised. Have a great day everyone.
 
They require a serial number of old BD Logic meter. Anybody got a serial number??
 
This is why they are replacing the old meters!

I used the number B46785879NN (a slight variation of your number) and I had no problem at all!! All the fellow on the phone really wanted was a serial number and an address to mail it to!
 
ATTENTION!
I just received a meter via Fedex.
When I opened the package to look at it I found a large orange
notice in the box telling me not to throw out the old meter.
They want it and are sending as special pickup for it via the Post Office!!
Sheeeeesh!!!
I am going to just ignore it due to circumstances beyond my control!! :)
 
I actually have one of the BD meters that got recalled (bought it for 9.99 at Rite Aid) so now I get a free replacement. Thanks! Never would have known :)

I got one too, I guess I will tell them I donated my old one or something. After all, the dude I talked to on the phone said nothing about sending back an old one....
