Microsoft is offering a free CD with all of the Windows updates and free trials of antivirus and firewall software, not sure what it is.

This will update your Windows XP with all the new security updates as of a little while ago, worth it for any dial-up user that can't download all the updates!

I got mine yesterday- I'll check it out tonight.

I got one a while back, they do come, fairly quickly actually.
 
Hmm...The first CD appears to be (on XP) SP1, DirectX 9, WMP9, some other stuff & an option to turn on the auto-update (which I don't like :hmm: ). CD 2 is Firewall & anti-virus offers. What a bummer. I was expecting more exciting stuff. :cry:
 
its pretty decent, i guess, i dunno if you dont want to install dx 9 or something, or if ur dial up, or if your living in the dark ages and have not got sp1 yet. Firewall and anti virus = crap trials
 
The whole reason I got it is because I am on dial-up. Downloaded them once, would hate to have to do it again.
