Free Milka Chocolate at Walgreens W/Coupon

The coupon code for the Milka in the July coupon booklet is 5407 in case your store doesn't have the booklets up front. You can just tell cashier the code number-they don't need the actual coupon.

They gave me such a hard time with one the "manufacturer's coupons" from their booklet a few weeks ago. Said they can't combine the mfg. cpn. from the booklet with a regular manufacturer's coupon. BS--their computers take both. I just had a coupon nazi who loves to find a problem and cause trouble.

thanks, I have to go there tomorrow to pick up pix anyway

has anyone tried this? the one coupon is off $1 off 2, the other is $1 off one, so you get $2 off total, but you need to purchase 3

I got this today but beware---you have to give coupons in a specific order--this happens when you combine the Walgreens booklet coupons with manufacturer's coupons.

Here's what I bought:
2 Mikla candy bars-first one rang up $2.29--second one rang up $.71.
2 6 packs of Dove Men's bar soap-first one rang up $7.49--second one $4.51

Used two $4.00 of Dove Men's coupons.
Then give cashier the Mikla manufacturer coupons. (2x$1.00)
LASTLY give the cashier the code from the booklet. If you give the cashier the booklet first,
the register will beep on your manufacturers coupons and an inexperienced cashier will tell you
that you can't stack the coupons, which is not correct. You are allowed to you manufacturer's coupons
with Walgreens coupons. The coupons in the booklet are NOT manufacturer's coupons.

Then I got a $4 register reward for the Dove soap, making the Dove soap free. (of course, I have to
spend the $4 RR in two weeks!)

I'm going to check my WG coupon booklet now--because the coupon I wanted to use on the Tylenol Precise DID say it was a mfg. cpn. I'm so sick of arguing about coupons, but they were adamant that I couldn't use the one in the booklet and mine together. They did finally let me purchase one item, but I was so exhausted afterwards, I had to go to Starbucks and get coffee (that sort of negated all my savings). So, you're saying that the Mikla cpn in their booklet does NOT say "mfg." I hope that's the case. Thanks.

Yes, the coupon in the booklet is a Walgreens coupon-actually you can just tell the cashier to key in code 5407--you don't even need to show her the booklet. It's the same type of coupon that regularly appears in their weekly ad--you don't need to actually clip those coupons for cashier-- you can just tell cashier the code number and they key it in. They don't have to collect the Walgreens coupons, because they don't have to go to a clearinghouse for reimbursement like an actual manufacturer coupon.

The Precise also is a Walgreens coupon-code 5568-
Again, the order you give the cashier the coupons is what makes a difference at Walgreens.
You must give the manufacturer coupon first-then the coupon booklet code number.
I would take my receipt back to Walgreens with booklet to get reimbursed Pat.

Tylenol Precise Pain Relief Cream 2.5 oz or Patch 3/4 pk ($7.99-$8.49) $3 off
coupon code 5568

-$5 Tylenol Precise Product , except trial size
-$2 Precise by Tylenol (exp 8/31/2011) 5/8/2011 SS

I got 2 chocolate bars today and i didn't have any problems. All the coupons worked fine :)

I get $1 off one, what's the matter of $1 off 2. where can i get this? can anyone tell me

It wasn't a scanning problem. The "manager on duty" was standing right by the register and watching the cashier. She interfered and told her not to take the WG one and my $5.00 one. She just kept pointing to the words "manufacturer's coupon" on their coupon from the booklet and telling me that I wasn't allowed to use both. There would have been a neg. bal. of $.01, but I had purchased a few small items as well, so it would not have been a problem if she hadn't gotten into it. Eventually, she let me use both on one item because I told her I was calling corporate and would check this out. I did call the store manager, and he said the same thing. If the coupon in the booklet says "manufacturer's coupon," you cannot use another coupon. You choose one or the other...that's their interpretation. Maybe giving them the code is a better option, but who knows if they'll even understand what that means. After checking my booklet, every coupon says "mfg. cpn." in the fine print except for the WG-branded items. I'll just try a different store. This gets very exhausting.

I guess I made out on the chocolate coupons then , b/c my walgreens had the candy bars as 2 for $2....Not $2 for 3:) I decided to get 4 bars and it came out to $1.07!:)
My store is fine...They allowed me to use the manufacturers coupons and the booklet coupons . On the Tylenol precise it says can only use 1 per visit but the coupon read i had 2 so gave me $6 on total , they also let me use the 2 $5 coupons I got online.
The cashiers it seems depends who you go to , whether or not they'll allow combining from their booklets and manufacturers coupons. Seems that a lot of stores are making them say Manufacturers to prevent stacking but I don't get the big deal. They want you to try things and these stores get all their money back. And they also get shipping per coupon of $.08 per coupon.
My total oop this trip was $1.05 (2 packages of Tylenol Precise, 4 candy bars )

I'm still confused ... if you ONly buy the candy, don't you have to get 3? One coupon is $1 off 1 the other is $1 off 2.

you can print 2 of the $1 off coupons making 2 bars free!
My store had them 2 for $2 so I used both $1 off 1bar and the $1 off 2 bars from the Walgreens booklet making it 3 off of the bars and got 4 bars for $1 after all 3 coupons were deducted ..:) Hope this helps!:)

I bought two--total was $3. Used two $1 on one printed mfg. cpns. and then had them scan the WG coupon booklet one ($1 off 2). Even though it says "mfg." I still say it's a STORE coupon and can be COMBINED with reg. mfg. cpns. Their computers agree with me, even though the cashiers/mgrs. could give you a problem. I went right to a mgr. and he rang me up with no questions asked. So, I just paid tax on the $3 total purchase. Now, that is interesting, because if it were truly coded as a store coupon, it would have voided the tax on the $1 booklet cpn., and it didn't. Anyway, $.21 tax was OK with me. Maybe that's why they are calling them mfg. cpns. The states want the tax.
