not a scam or anything

I've received a couple of different free-trial/50-free-songs from this company at various concerts and so forth, and it really is free if you cancel after your free downloads. :) i.e. sign up, spend an hour choosing your free songs, and cancel immediately and you will have no problems or hidden charges or anything. :) that's my experience at least!

If you have directv, you can get 125 free downloads through directv's website. Emusic has a lot of lesser known/independent artists. They also have a good collection of kid's music.

They want too much info. They want your credit card info. NO THANKS :thumbs_do

I did an offer similar to this before. eMusic was good in that they didn't charge my credit card or anything and didn't give me any problems canceling but their selection in music is kind of an acquired taste. I like A LOT of different kinds of music but even I couldn't find 100 songs to download from them.

I'll stick to limewire & bitlord!

I agree with the comment above, could not find 100 songs to download either. Too much indie music for me. :thumbs_do

There are no top 40 songs (recent/good/new) on this site. Beware- that is the catch.

20 free eMusic downloads

I'm not sure if this one will work for everyone, but we received this as an appreciation offer from Parliament due to the delay of the Perfect Lighter gift. The download code is: E1DQCSP9BUHIPJ27 Goto www.eMusic.com/distinctMP3 . We never did take advantage of this offer, so thought we'd pass it along. I am sooooooooooooooooooo MP3 illiterate :noidea:

Don't they make the plain old Walkman anymore?! That's tech enough for me :bigok:...

i got one of these also. they are one time use only.
thanks anyway...
