lately Blockbuster is pushing out some really aggressive marketing moves... And I haven't heard much on netflix part. I wonder what are their market shares.
 
Where do i enter the code? I get the credit card page without seeing anything?

I just tried to sign in and it let me have another 2 weeks of 3 rentals at a time for free...:claps:
 
I didn't see the promo code box prior to entering my card either....any ideas?

netflix is doing pretty good, right now they are testintg watching movies over the internet. I think that each member gets like 12 hours to watch per month or something like that..

personally Im a blockbuster member, and it's really comfortable. If you have blockbuster store near you, you can kinda watch all the movies you want.

Me neither. I thought I'd find it eventually but looks like I signed up with no deal. Dammit.:verysad: :doh:

Yeah good luck canceling. They didn't cancel mine until three months after I did the cancellation. :suspect: I don't think they ever credited my card back. (The credit company reimbursed me.)
 
I've had very, very bad luck with blockbuster's through-the-mail movie rental service. All the movies I rented were scratched and skipped, and they tried to cheat me out of $60. I had to get the BBB involved before they would refund my money. Be careful with them...
 
I also had a problem cancelling after my free month was up. I cancelled online and they still charged my credit card. Then when I contacted customer service (which, by the way, is obviously outsourced and speaks is very hard to communicate with) they said that they had no record of me cancelling. Luckily I kept my cancellation email so I could prove that I cancelled. But even then they didn't credit my card and kept telling me that whoever processed the refund must have made an error -- this happened 3 times so highly doubtful. After 2 months I finally got the credit, but a free month of movies definitely wasn't worth the hassle!!:mmph:

I think blockbuster charged me $10...I thought I was signing up for a FREE trial for the first month wth??? Am I missing something here?
