My dad will be participating in a conference call tomorrow to get him a new job, hurray! More money for me to blow on Spoofee deals.

Anyway, since it's a serious and long call, he'd rather not use his cell phone and since it is so important, he will just use the landline. (We don't use one penny of long distance on our line, it's all on our cells. :)) Anyway, he just needs a phone card with maybe an hour or so or anything really of calling time for one time use. He doesn't mind paying, of course, but cheap me figured hey, it's worth a post on Spoofee, because I'm too cheap for long distance! :theyareon

Anyway, anything that will work without ads etc for a short period of calling would be great, I'm sure something has to exist. Free long distance used to be a snap, not so much anymore. Thanks!

Well the best rate of any phone card that I know of are the ones at Sams'. They are 3.47 cents per min, no calling fee's, mins do not expire, and you can renew them if you want. The only down side about the Sam's cards, if you can call it a down side, is the smallest card they have it a 600 min. Of course I'm assuming you or someone you know has a membership to sams.

If you looking for one time use are the penny ones advertised at gas stations. Normaly they are 1 cent per min, but they have a connect fee of any where from .30 to .50 per call. So you can do the math and get a card that is large enough.

I know that these are not free, but if you can find any of the free ones they are normaly not that long, ie 30 mins or so... and I doubt if your dad would want the phone to cut off 1/2 way into the interview lol. :help:

That's cool. I even believe he called this morning and no one was around, so they will probably call him back later today, on their bill. :) So, it's all handled. Thanks for the tip though.
