Free Pound of Rancher's Reserve Boneless Beef Roast at Safeway, 11/9-11/15/05

The front page of the Safeway Ad for 11/9 to 11/15 shows Rancher's Reserve Boneless Beef Cross Rib Roast or Boneless Chuck Roast as being $1.99/lb (save up to $2.30/lb).

There's also a coupon for $2 off ANY Rancher's Reserve Boneless Beef Roast (limit one, exp 11/15/05) on the front page of the ad. The coupon does not say that any minimum purchase is necessary.

So then with the coupon, a pound of Rancher's Reserve Boneless Beef Roast or Chuck Roast would be free.

Also, Safeway notes that they'll refund or replace your Rancher's Reserve cut if you don't find the beef to be completely delicious.

Please check your local Safeway ad to verify that this offer is valid in your area.

Yea, what do you think that chances are that they will have any 1lb roasts. Most stores have these packaged somewhere other than the store so you are going to get more than 2-3 lbs. Its not a bad deal, but not exactly a steal.

Their Ranchers Reserve Roasts are great...but usually 5+ pounds so it really wouldn't be free, unless you can get the butcher to cut off a 1 pound portion...Thanks for the heads up!!

Thanks wildbanchee! :)

I don't buy beef since I don't eat it, so I wasn't aware that Safeway sold their Rancher's Reserve Roasts like that. :o

5 pounds, huh? Well, then I guess it would be $8 for 5 lbs, unless, as you already mentioned, Safeway would be willing to cut a 1 pound portion.
