HOPE IT COME!!

"For entertaining in the summer I LOVE to make Beer-Ritas with freh limes. You just use Limes Tequila, lime-aid in the can. No water and a light beer instead of water. They are so yummy but one or two will do! Add lots of fresh limes and ice and your ready. At Easter I love to make Peep- Tini's with Marshmello Peeps on the side of the glasses and colored sugar! Again Yum!"

She cooked at our big culinary event two years ago and did a booksigning afterwords. She's cool.

Here is my story. Hope we all get a cookbook.

I have been with my boyfriend for 5 years now. He is a great cook. He taught and inspires me to cook. Now I have a couple of recipes under my belt now. It is so exciting when I have family and friends over for dinner. I cook and entertain them. Especially love it when they enjoyed their meals.

While living in Saudi Arabia, I kept seeing animals on various products. I asked why, and they told me it was so the bedouin could identify the products or their application, as many could not read. The funniest thing I ever saw was the sheep on the large sizes of the Vaseline jar. It's still there today at stores!

Thanks for the linky!!!

My entry:
Hosting a Luau, finances drained, my wife rose to the challenge using hand-picked banana-leaf placemats, homemade grass skirts around jars with a votive candle inside. Shredded pork roast with Teriyaki sauce on rolls with a slice of pineapple, cut up a fruit salad and the party was on!

Man, hard to be creative in 50 words or less!

I chopped my story up and STILL could only get it down to right under 60. Hope that doesn't hurt my chances to get a free book. :05:

In the meantime - here is my little secret:secret: :

"Moving from Hawaii to Texas taught me how to whip up a true Texas Margarita that would make the locals back home proud! Take a can of frozen limeade and blend it with half a can of GOOD tequila, the other half with equal parts Grand Marnier and Orange Juice and one can of water or crushed ice. Enjoy!"

Ripoff

I tried twice to send in my comments to get a cookbook. The first time I got a notethat said the page was unavailable. So I wrote a complaint. The second time the same thing happened. As the supply is limited, they're probably all gone by now, but even if they aren't, I cannot get my story to Rachael Ray's link. And when I go backwards, my entire story has disappeared.

WOW...I just got this in the mail....I love her!!!!

Thanks jj - i wrote about my "culinary adventure" while visiting the Acores when I was 13. I'd love to get the book
