Here's a copy of the original email that went out to my exclusive "In Crowd" members. I don't know whether to be upset or overjoyed. Maybe you can help me out.

As near as I can tell somebody put my page on a viral freebie site and I now have 5,000 requests for free hot sauce. We are a mom & pop operation, people; and an exclusive club. We're close to our customers.

We share recipes and many club members take advantage of our gifting program. You know, where I come in the home office to a message that says:

"It's my son in law's birthday, BigJeff on such & such a day. I want you to send him a 3 pak of that HOTT! salsa. Just charge the card you have."

I guess I'll ask you to be kind enough to email my poor wife and reassure her that you're not just out for a freebie and you want to be a part of our Sweet and Sassy Salsa family. Her email address is [email protected] Put the words "Family matters" in the subject line, for me please.

they send you an email now and say they want to know if you are out just for a freebie or do you really want to purchase some hot sauce. Then you have to e-mail his wife and let her know for sure
 
Wow people I'm overwhelmed, Thank you. The promotion was over as of 6:00 PM EST 2/29/08. Keep watching. As soon as we send the samples out (we are a mom & pop deal) and can determine if it was a good marketing move, in other words if we get sales, we'll do it again. So buy buy buy! Big Jeff Jones

My hubby passed on his cajun cast iron tummy to me!
