I use chrome browser and can't get the website to even load. I then used firefox and got the home page to load, but still can't get the free sample page to load.

Yeah, they've got a wonky flash website going on. Try using Internet Explorer, or try uninstalling/reinstalling flash, try clearing your flash cache. One of those should work.
