Re: risky business
Man, this Nutrasweet crap is risky business if you ask me. I know no one is asking my opinion but I don't think many (if any) people do research into how bad this garbage is for your body.
Not to mention how many complaints the FDA has every year from allergic reactions to it and its by-products.
It's unstable when heated, and is therefore directly contraindicated in baked and fried recipes (I don't know if I'm doing this correctly, but take a look at this .pdf on FDA.gov -
http://www.fda.gov/ohrms/dockets/dockets/06p0094/06p-0094-cp00001-18-Attachment-03-vol1.pdf
Or just go to the FDA.gov website and search "nutrasweet complaints" in the search box. There are literally thousands and thousands of them. I see patients weekly that are having headaches, upset stomachs and many other miscellaneous symptoms that go away instantly when they get this gerbage out of their diet.
Interested in learning more? Go to Mercola.com and search "Nutrasweet", "sucralose", "aspartame" and you will have access to more information than you need to make an informed decision.
Interesting fact: In 1996 FDA listed 92 symptoms, from seizures to death,
reported in 10,000 consumer complaints, more than any other food additive
before or since!
