What's the catch? There has to be some catch?
I'm guessing maybe that after a year, they'll automatically renew your subscription and bill you for it unless you tell them otherwise.
Anything else?

The only catch is the "time to renew" notice that comes for three months after your year is up.

How can they automatically bill youfor it...you never give them any monetary or financial info when you request the free one year trial.

My thoughts exactly!

Just beware of the free trial subscriptions at Best Buy if you pay by credit card; they've been known to (albeit illegally) share that information to the magazine so that they can automatically bill you.
