Free Sunglasses at Charlotte Russe In Store- Seventeen Mag - 5/5

HOW TO ENTER THE CHARLOTTE RUSSE SUNGLASSES GIVEAWAY (June Issue): Starting May 5, 2009, bring the June 2009 cover of Seventeen or a printout of the seventeen.com homepage to any participating Charlotte Russe store to receive a pair of sunglasses (approximate retail value: $6). Ten thousand (10,000) will be given away. One per person. Giveaway ends June 8, 2009. While supplies last. Once all sunglasses are distributed, there will be no substitute product given away.

Many times printing the June cover from seventeen.com has also beeen accepted

You just need to print a copy of the homepage...you probably won't find the advertisement for this offer on the homepage. This is how they did a giveaway for underwear at JcPenney. My advice though is to print a copy of the rules for the giveaway, or call ahead to make sure the store you are going to knows of the offer. My JcPenney didn't know what I was talking about even though I did. Hope this helps.
 
Got them today. They didn't want the front page just the print out from the Seventeen site but they did want the little coupon in the magazine. She said they won't accept it if you don't have it. I did have it so it was no problem but I told her that's not what the rules said. So good luck everyone.

i would print out the the official rules and take it with you along with the print out of the homepage, if they have a problem they should contact their headquarters, i would make them do it.

Had the rules with me. Still no go! By the way the glasses don't look so hot on me. LOL
 
I got mine today, I had the magazine with me and they didn't ask for the coupon.

i'll make them take the printout or i'll give them hell :rant::mad::argh: hahahaha people need to follow direction especially stores like CR, they get shaddy and make up their own policies, homey dont play tha!! :peace:
 
talk about good timing i got the mail and there was my seventeen magazine and i was ready to go out to the mall with my print outs since i hadn't gotten the mag. but i used the mag instead of the print outs but the people working there weren't so happy about it, you would think its coming out of their pocket, its a cheapo sunglasses, but i'll wear it, i'd seen this glasses back in the 80s now its back, my mom owned or still owns something similar to the one i got from CR but far more better. its a back up pair.
 
I brought my seventeen magazine to the store; the Casher was very nice. He tore the front cover of the magazine and gave me a big pair of sun glasses... noone in my family want to wear such a big one...

how does this work ... do you get to pick out the sunglasses, or do they give you a pair?
 
Went today with my magazine-cashier said they only had 12 originally and wouldn't be getting anymore. Gave away the 12 on the first day! But she said she was told she could offer me a $5 off $25 coupon instead. Sounds like bait and switch to me. You advertise in a national magazine, but only give your store 12 pairs??????:sad:
 
I never got mine because both stores in Paramus, NJ were out by Thursday. They were nice about it and called the other store to save me a stop. They did not offer any other coupon/product, but that's OK. Couldn't get there until the 7th, so I wasn't surprised.
