The Century Council, through its studies and research, found that retailers are looking for point of sale materials with a fresh look that boldy speaks to the target audience of underage purchasers. The Council developed a "pop culture" campaign whose main focus is to cater to the younger generation of adults, at the same time, compliment existing point of sale materials currently being distributed. More than six million posters, decals, buttons and employee information brochures have been distrubted free of charge to over 100,000 retailers in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
