Mmmmmmmmmmmmm......... Nothing beats a 3 day old burito that's travelled across country in a hot, smelly and humid mailman's truck.:bigok:

Well, my Fahita Burrito with steak was so big I can send 1/2 to Seattle. There is enough hot sauce on it that it will probably be fine with a little microwave action.

It took me about an hour to get my burrito (full size, made to order) with a large soda. I went there right after noon so it was probably the worst time but I thought it was well worth the wait as long as your boss doesn't mind a little longer lunch break.

They expect to crank out 400 burritos an hour and they are doing this for 9 hours. For the math challenged that is 36,000 big burritos and big drinks.

I had heard that they were owned by Micky Ds but this is not correct. McDonalds invested in them heavily when they were first starting but Chipoltle is a completely separate company and no longer associated with Micky Ds.

I wonder if McDonalds didn't help them get started so there would be a place where the McDonalds employees could get a good meal

Thanks choochoojr for a great lunch.

And I looked at all the ladies legs and never saw precos! I'd like to say it was disappointing but it more like fun :o

I asked a lady at the door about others and she said they were opening one in the Empire State Building next (which I guess is the one you mean) but that they aren't going to do the free buritto deal. She said there are 15 in New York, one in Brooklyn. BTW there is one on 34th between the AMC Theater and DMV, across from The Hammerstein Ballroom/Manhatten Center if you can't wait for the Empire State Building one and that's close enough for you :D .
