I got registered and now says I am a VIP. It also said I can start shopping with VIP free shipping.

Does the VIP membership ever expire? Or is it permanent?

My profile said I'm already VIP. Come to think of it, I've always been given free next-day shipping. Maybe I'm grandfathered in to permanent VIP status somehow??
