Freebies for others...Saturday, May 13th, 2006

My husband is a mail carrier and he requested that since we all get so many freebies, maybe we could give a freebie back to the community this Saturday, May 13th. Please give if you can - it's for a good and a local cause.

Help the National Association of Letter Carriers and Campbell Soup Company

Consumers head to their local stores for nonperishable food items like canned soup, juice, pasta, rice, and cereal, placing them in grocery bags. Bags will be placed next to the mailbox on May 13th, 2006, for pickup.
Letter carriers will then pick up the food and deliver it to local food banks.

my father in law is a retired postal worker and we give to this faithfully every year it really is a nice thing to do for others :claps:
