Has anyone else noticed the quality of freebies have gone downhill, or is it just me? I'm not referring to the posters, but what is offered. When I found Spoofee a few years ago it seems to me that the freebies were better. Do you think companies aren't offering as many, or do you think it just runs in cycles?
 
I've been wondering the same thing lately. Dunno if its the companies, if its a cycle or if I was younger then and anything free and in the mail was fun.

I'm inclined to think its a cycle because every now and then I sign up for a dozen or so, but usually its 1 or 2 a week...if that.

I sign up for things that I may enjoy, but, don't receive many of them.:convinced: There is a plethora of offerings in the Freebie section every day. There are weeks when I sign up for a bunch of stuff, and, then weeks where I only sign up for one or two. Maybe it is a cycle? :hmmmm2:
 
I have belonged to another sight for a long time now and I had made the same comments over there, which was what led me to look around for other interesting sights! Hopefully it's a passing phase! One of the silliest things I think about the companies slowing down on the freebies is that a lot of them don't include coupons...we would purchase the item (if we like it ) even more so if they included a coupon! Isn't that the point...to get us to eventually BUY the product!
 
I am very depressed,Pug Girl.I have been on a horrible freebies slump in the last month.Nothing good.I check my box for my free stuff,and nothing.Maybe its a conspiracy with my mail carrier.Maybe she caught on....JUST KIDDING.:rofl:

Thank you MrsK!!!!.. they are adorable!!.. I try to remain "anonymous" so to speak, so I search for pugs to change my avatar.. those will come in handy! I don't use my dogs so that no one will recognize me.. haha

It seems that a few years ago I was able to get more free stuff and not just sample sizes. The thing is I only sign up for what I would really use or would like to try so the companies actually make money off of me if I like the product.. maybe some good stuff will be back soon.

I hope or my other thought (conspiracy theory alert)..

They are on to us. They know that if they advertise a freebie, our agents will report it back and their site will get bombed.

Case in point the Coors beer Banquet Club promo - it went from t-shirts to stickers

How I long for the day of Bridgestone golf balls, Camel points and Irwin utility knife blades.
