Guess what I got today at BestBuy: 75GB WD HD and 256MB memory (49AR BF), 48x Verontex (or whatever it is called)(10AR BF) and two 75 packs of CDRs (FAR BF).

I guess Fri I am going to straight to customer service at 11:45 (before noon, just in case and after the crowds are gone). No need to bring the merchadise - just the receipt. Make sure you repurchase to have the proper date (and not just price adjust).

Darn I forgot to let them pay me $20 for taking the scanner off their hands. I hate when it happens :(
 
Final price?

Hi, I'm trying to follow what the BF list says. The price is $220 with $60 in store and $110 mail in? The final price would be $50 then right? Anybody had experiences with BB rebates? I had with Staples (good) and Compusa (bad) but never BB. Thank you all.

One more thing, just to know, how much did you pay for the bundle today?
 
From my experience you should get your rebat the following number of weeks after you mail it: Microsoft 2, Staples 4, BestBuy 5, OfficeMax and OfficeDepot 12, Circuit City 16, CompUSA 20.

Sorry I did not pay attention how much I paid for individaul items. it does not matter as it will all be refunded to my card. It was low seven hundreds in total (I bought 2 sets of each).

..lately with staples it's more like 8-10. I can recall when staples/parago used to be 4-5, but it took me a good 10 weeks for a rebate on a maxtor, a sandisk usb reader, and 8 weeks later my verbatim cdrw rebate is still in the "valid" but "30 days processing" stage.

Now with flipping maxell cdrs at staples, also handled by parago (rebateshq.com) I swear the things come back in 3 weeks.

Just been mize lil experiences of late, and friends and family where staples is concerned. Otherwise I second your time frames listed....though I have gotten BB rebates back in as few as 3 weeks on occassion.

If anybody is in the New York City area you'll have to wait till Friday. The stuff won't hit the shelves until then. Damn luck.
 
I must be slow today... If the total after rebates is $49+$10=$59 then how are you getting them free?
 
It's different things.

75GB + 256mb Ram = $49

150 CD-R (2 pack) spindle = FAR

48X burner = $10
