Funny Happening - Instant Winner

I was at my friend's house and we were just hanging out.

All of a sudden my friend's dad flies in and saids "I won a Plasma TV!"

We first thought he was joking, but he explained how he saw a website on TV for a chance to win... etc. etc.

So we follow him to his computer and there is one of those annoying popups on the screen that saids "INSTANT WINNER!"

... I just started laughing. It was great.

This may be one of those "you had to be there to find it funny" things.

i know what you mean, spoofee- my husband was the same way the first time he got one of those- you should've seen how excited he was!

i still have to remind him not to click on the "warning" messages about pc speed not being optimal... those pop-ups are so irritating!!
