Rebates says that item must be purchased at its regular price. Hence, you can't use coupon here.
 
FreeFreek, I called the Customer Service Rep and she assured me that the rebate will work. She said the chair is being bought for the regular price and I am using a coupon. Thanks for pointing this out. :)
 
Awesome deal, but the words "This offer not valid with any other promotions" scare me. To me, a coupon is a type of promotion.

Just ordered and asked through online chat since I want to have proof that the rebate is valid with coupon. What I guess was, each CSwill have deferent opnion and want to catch one favorite answer. Well, does not work. "Coupon is another form of promotion. the rebate is not valid" All same answers. For the people who already ordered. Think twice. There is high chance that the rebate invalid. With OD, return is easy.

I ordered it and received it today!
Spoofee called CS and she assured spoofee that the rebate will work and young, on the other hand, saying that it won't. :hmm:
Return this chair or send the rebate form... That is the question.
 
I wonder if they can just adjust your order and take the $20 coupon off, so you can just do the $40 rebate and save $20 more? If not I guess you can just return it.

What I was trying to do was grab the answer Spoofee got and take a screen shot in case of the rebate not honored. I did this stuff before and the result was got the rebate the somewhat later.
If you can record the CS reply, that could be better.

Well, for $20 save, it could be too much trouble as I think now. I'm happy to able cancel the order.
 
ehh... I'm sending the rebate out today in the mail... the invoice says the purchase price of the chair is 79.99, no special sale price... I highlighted the price in fluorescent orange. The invoice also shows the $20 coupon in the total, but I don't care, I need the chair regardless... :D If they give me sh*t about it, I'm going to call them up and give them sh*t about it. end of story.

Looks like the chair is going back to the store.
 
$40 is still good for this nice chair( i tried today when I drop by OD for other purpose.) but $60 seems too much. If I really need this chair, I will buy it without coupon.
 
Well here's my take on it...I could be wrong but...Lets say to buy the chair for 79.99 and a case of paper for $20 ( and the paper is just something I pulled out of thin air) They can't say the $20 coupon came off of the chair instead of the paper and vice versa...It came off the total order..So order a chair and a paper-clip pay 79.99 for the chair and -19.97 for the paper-clip
