FYI: First-Class mail rate increases to $0.42 on May 12

I didn't know where to post this ("Buyers Beware...Tips" forum?), but I just wanted to spread the word:

USPS will increase the first-class mail rate (1 ounce or less letters) to 42 cents on May 12, 2008. However, you can buy the Forever Stamp until that date for 41 cents and continue to use these for First Class mail even after all future rate increases. On May 12, the price of the "Forever" stamp will increase, as well, to 42 cents.

thanks for the info - with all the increasing of everything now-a-days, I had to ask someone the other day how much stamps were bc I couldnt remember!

as for gas - we are at 3.55 here in the Panhandle
