Thanks for detailing this, I was too lazy to. We should stop having people post these Citibank deals, I mean how many people are actually going to open up a nice sized Citibank checking account to gain $100? They seem to be becoming more popular and I don't think their worth anything, maybe other people do though?

I haven't done this, but if their monthly charge for the account isn't much, that really is a very good return on your money in 60 days. Where else can you make 7.5% in that length of time?

I called the phone number, and a technical support lady talked to me.
The two bills, as described in it are two bills to like the electrical company, or the cable company.
So they're not actually charging anything for this service.

You basically get $100 for paying your bills, which isnt bad.

The money is also subject to taxes? There goes ¼ of it.

I don't know, I still think even if it's only $50 cash after all whatever taxes, fees, it's still a good deal for the efforts and then cancel it. Besides, it's your call to make the choice. I just want to let people know there's a possible good deal there maybe doesn't sound so attractive to everybody. It's kinda judgmental to stop these kinda posts. In my opinion, it's good as long as any info about freebies keeps flowing in.

Keep 'em comin'. This is a good deal. Thanks for posting.

Any time you can get a bank to pay you fees, instead of you paying them, it's definately a good deal!

DVD Player

The DVD player came today via UPS 2nd day air. I opened the account for $1505 and paid myself two bills at $4 and $1, and wrote myself a check for $1500 on March 1st (end of 2nd month) to close my account! Worked great!

Pay Anyone Online

I just called citibank and talked to a rep. They said that the online bill pay can be used to pay anything even to yourself. I also got a confirmation with another rep online that I could pay online for anything/ anyone. Happy Money earning! :D
