Here's your chance to publicly voice your opinion of Mr. Obama's presidency thus far. Once you vote, you will then be shown the poll's tally. Seems to be a "either they love him or hate him" kind of affair.:yesnod:

I think Jimbo voted 400,000 times.....

No that was Preco!! I told her that she needed to click the "F" button, but I think she gave up "F-ing" anything for Lent!!!:lol::lol::lol::kissing::tongue:

I just went to the link...here are the current stats:

If you were grading Barack Obama on his performance as president, what would he get? * 808999 responses

He gets an A
58%

He gets a B
10%

He gets a C
2.9%

He gets a D
5.6%

He gets an F
23%

I wonder who the hell gave him all those A's? Our country is in deep doo-doo and BO is making things worse :toilet: as the days go on.

I forgot ~ can anyone tell me  ~ What are BO's qualifications to be president :dontknow:

hahha :) I agree. The way the Elections went this time around we are not in the land of the FREE anymore. Well when he fails I will be one of the first in line to say I told you so :)

I thought all the voting was done last year although I recently tried to imagine what McCain and his side-kick might have accomplished if they had won instead.

Jerry, I have to agree with you. I think the entire nominating process is badly broken if these two were the best candidates.
I've long thought that every election, from the smallest to the greatest, should have a "none of the above" ballot choice. When "none of the above" wins, then the candidates are disqualified and the process starts over, in an accelerated format.

I know that McCain wouldnt make jokes the way MR President has been. Thinking the recessions is a funny thing to him and how, he compares himself to the Special Olympics. Oh not to forget all our money going to those big corporation's so they can get their bonus. They can fix the problem. Give every household 1 million each , I know I would definitley spend it. They would save more money doing it that way.

ps. funny when McCain did something how the newspapers had it all over BIG _N_ BOLD, and when this guy does it , its like no big deal and its in the middle of the paper and off the news in one day. How they talk about " He apoligized and he felt bad. What ever! He is sorry that we actuallay saw what an A _ _ he really is.

Oh I don't know, I thought McCain was far funnier at that dinner they both attended. Once upon a time I decided that a comedian I once had liked was telling terrible jokes. I then realized that he couldn't possibly always say things that I would never find offensive.
Another time ago I said that surely there had to be better qualified people to let us choose from. Everything else aside I'd rather have a thoughtful person trying to solve these problems than an impulsive one. If the impulsive one were the one that had been elected it wouldn't matter to me. He would be the POTUS and I would support him. It would be as if I didn't like the manager or my favorite baseball team. If I want the team to win I would still have to wish the manager success even if he is an ass and I disagree with his every move. Of course a baseball team winning the World Series or not is a little less consequential than the success of our country.

Nicely stated :)

If it were Hitler or Castro that had 'won' (not every election is 'fair')...would you still stand behind and support your POTUS?

I respect the position but still reserve the right to decide whether I support a policy or an action of the POTUS. I do not believe in blindly supporting anyone's actions in any position. JMO

I don't believe that anything being proposed comes even close to out and out hatred, communism, genocide, dropping atom bombs, torture, homophobia, infanticide (debatable I suppose although I support stem cell research) and a litany of other actual EVILs.
As wise (read old) and knowledgeable as I might be there are some aspects of current affairs where I have to acquiesce to those with access to more information. I guess what I'm saying is that since my ideas may sound good and they may not agree with elected officials, they may not be adequately grounded. And since the national matters being presently addressed are pretty unprecedented, until a proposed solution has been demonstrated to not work, I say, "give it a shot".
We the people elected the guy and no matter what is said he's the one at the plate. I sure hope the hell he gets the home run we all need and am cheering for him to do it. (sorry for the baseball metaphor).

shall we start betting on after exactly how many replies this thread will get a lockdown?

What kinda 'leader' uses a teleprompter at a news conference, and tells the reporters in advance who will be called upon?

I thought the smart ones did this. I'd utilize every kind of cheat sheet I could with those media hyena.

Lincoln said, "You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time."

On the other hand George W. Bush said, “You can fool some of the people all the time, and those are the ones you want to concentrate on.”

Of course the little general did fool a lot of people for 8 years so maybe he's "got" something.

BTW, I'll take a little of that action gr8nrg. ("shall we start betting on after exactly how many replies this thread will get a lockdown?") I'll bet it doesn't last through tomorrow. (where's Jimmy Higgins when you need him?)

The kind that just wants to spout his own agenda.....that's not a 'conference'....no 'conferring' going on there....:nonod:

That makes sense to me. I would hope he wouldn't spout someone elses agenda.
