Google has their Google license plate frame for only $1.20 shipped. If you are a Google fan and tired of your car dealer's license plate frame, this is a cheap option.

Google is comming to my university to give a talk on monday, and they gave my computer club boxes of shirts with a "button" on the front that says "I'm feeling lucky", with a google logo on the back..

I just thought it was funny as hell :)
 
This is so cool, but I don't know, might make the car look tacky. I have a nice black plastic one on there now that has no writing on it, no dealer name or anything.

If you live in TX and your car is newer than an '03 model you could get a ticket for having a license plate cover that obstructs ANY PART of your license plate, even the entire plate number is visible.

I live in Texas too, and I think that law is ridiculous. Who cares if the little rocket ship is covered up? I think it's just another excuse for the law to pull someone over, and cite "probable cause."
 
So, if I have an '02 car or older, I can have my license plate obstructed by the frame and not get ticketed in TX? LOL :confused:

Well not obstructed but you can have a license plate cover that hides some trim because they grandfathered exemption for those with older cars. I guess they figured ones that were on the car before the law was passed are OK.
 
So stupid... I don't think we have anything like that in Pennsylvania.
 
That's wierd, they let you order it even though it says "Out of Stock". I guess they plan on getting more in?

Hey, :spoofee: , you can take away "(expired)" next to this deal. It's back on. I guess they've added more to their stock by popular demand. Though I do agree with someone who said it is too tacky to have a google license plate.
 
Yeah, it was me. Like, it's pretty cool, but I don't know... I drive a 1992 car that I've kept in great shape with my dad, and I like it to look as pristine as possible, so I think this would be a little tacky.

I don't know though, it's tempting. Something no one else has. :D
