Search for schools in community/ies and get the teachers email addresses. Then send them the offers for free stuff for teachers that you find on freebie forums. All schools are having budget crunches on education and these things might make a difference in children's education in your community.
I am doing this for my community and surrounding communities and have gotten a lot of positive feedback. I did learn to give them my name, address and phone number and let them know how I am connected to the schools in my community. I gave them the names and schools where my grandchildren, children, relatives, and friends' children attend. This makes me feel more connected to my community and that I am contributing even though I have limited funds and resources.
It will take a little work first searching for the emails and then setting them up in your email account but the teachers and children will really appreciate the effort. I also gave the web addresses of the freebie forums for the teachers' personal use to supplement their incomes as well.
I live in Marshalltown, IA and am presently sending information to the following school districts:
Marshalltown Community Schools, East Marshall, West Marshall, and Garwin
