Guess Factory.com Buyer BEWARE

Just wanted to give all the Spoffee's and Spoffians a heads up about Guess Factory.com. I purchased a few things from them with a 20% off discount coupon code. My cart reflected the discount ($31.60) however at the final check out the discount was not applied. There were no second chances, you didn't get to review your order - I entered my cc info and it was zapped. This would have been fine and dandy had they charged me the correct amount. I contacted their customer service department via e-mail with a copy paste of what the cart reflected before they hit my credit card and then the final charge. That was 5 days ago, to date I have not heard from them. Today I called their customer service department - the rep was exceptionally rude, which didn't sit well with me since my profession is a customer service manager! She "told" me there was nothing she could do for me that I should have noticed this and taken care of it before I allowed the transaction to complete. When I explained there was not an option to review the final charges before they charged my cc she sat there silent and asked me if there was anything else she could do for me??? LOL - I said well you haven't done anything for me, but you could give me the credit I am due. She said MA'AM I already "told" you - there is nothing we can do. Sigh, so I am out $31.60 and will never do business with Guess again which is too bad because through the years they have gotten quite a few of my duckets! :ohwell:
 
Refuse Delivery of the order or send it back and get a 100% refund. Thats what I would do at least.
 
Thanks Coop - the package was already delivered so I called them again and asked for a call tag to pick it up. I am now waiting for a call from the supervisor - this should be interesting!
 
I've shopped at guessfactory a few times before and have never had a problem using coupon codes.
 
Update - tried to update thread but for some reason it doesn't recognize me as the original post.

I received a call back from a manager with Guessfactory.com and in addition to be apologetic AND giving me a refund on the mishap with the coupon code he also offered me an additional discount for a later purchase. He said the website hiccuped that evening and I wasn't the only one that had a problem. So all is well and they have retained my business.
 
Too funny, 20% next purchase and free shipping. Not to shabby.
