Guild Wars is a sweet online RPG, it's had 2 open free public events, the e3 and wpe demo events.. They have 1 beta weekend trial each month, the only way to play is to pre-order and get a code, or get one from a friend who pre-ordered, or find a site offering one. Fileplanet is offering out a limited number of keys, so hurry to get one. They'll give you a code good to play in this upcoming free trial weekend, starting Jan 7th.

I've already preordered GW and have played all the trials and events, the game owns.. Its an mmorpg, with both mission style and pvp fighting. the graphics own, gameplay rocks, and its the best of all worlds.. The best part is.. NO PAY PER MONTH. which owns, just buy it once, and thats it, no gimmicks.. If you check out any of the reviews, it gets great reviews. Most gaming sites are rating it higher then world of warcraft and everquest2. Personally i think this game blows everquest away, they just did everything so perfectly in GW and its not even fully done yet. Official launch date is supose to be around may.

groovy, got one... hope to try it out next weekend... im a current EQ2 player, so trying a new game will be interesting :D
 
Guild Wars is very cool... It takes some getting used to, but I really enjoy it... I've played in the two prior beta weekends, and will continue to do so until the game comes out.
 
Guild wars is an AWESOME game. We've been playing every Beta event since last spring. Hopefully the game will come out soon!
 
yea, i cant wait.. I know they pushed back the launch a month, but I have faith in them the extra month will give them time for something worthwhile :) The game now is pretty much flawless, no drops, no problems, so I'm sure its for adding some new missions or some new features,..

I'll end up sleeping about 4-5hrs a night this weekend ;P and after the beta weekend events I go through like a withdrawl period for a week or so, hehe.. the preorder is $50 which doesnt get charged til the game ships, I prolly would of paid another $50 at this point, or even be willing to pay per month, but shh dont tell them that. hehe..

when i first tried guild wars, i was like 50/50 if i was gonna buy it because I thought it was going to be pay per month like everquest, etc.. but when i found it had no monthly fee's i was like 'heck yea, im buying this'

My husband and I fell in love with the game the first time we tried it last spring. We are so used to the zerging in DAoC and various other games we grew tired of it. This one definately offers a lot.

If you are into playing betas try www.gamergod.com theres a good list of open and closed betas. Some beta's last forever.
